ZW7-40.5 Outdoor Vacuum Circuit Breaker

The ZW7-40.5 is an outdoor medium-voltage vacuum circuit breaker for three-phase AC 50 Hz outdoor high-voltage service, suitable for control and protection of 20–40.5 kV power transmission and distribution systems. It is also used as a sectional circuit breaker and for switched capacitor bank applications. Paired with a sectionalizing controller and reclosing device, it enables intelligent sectioning and reclosing control of the power system, and a current transformer can be added for measurement and protection.

The breaker is equipped with a spring or electromagnetic actuator, offering reliable mechanical performance under frequent operation with no risk of fire or explosion. Core characteristics include excellent vacuum-arc breaking performance, high breaking capacity, mechanical life up to 10,000 operations, a simple maintenance-free structure with a long maintenance cycle, strong insulation and anti-pollution performance, and optional current transformers with measurement accuracy up to 0.2 level for three-phase interaction.
